The alternative, according the repairman, was changing the motherboard, which would be very expensive, especially given the hyperinflation the country I live in is going through. He also cleaned the laptop and removed any dust/debris that has accumulated over the years in it. I can live without the dedicated graphics card since the most I do is some very casual gaming and I have no issue with that. He recommended changing the hard drive from an HDD to an SSD and turning off the dedicated graphics card since there was a hardware issue with it. My laptop was recently acting up (blue screens, freezing, black screen on startup, same issue above, etc.), so I took it to the repairman. However, if I shut down/sleep and attempt to turn it back on after a while, the same issue occurs. After turning it back on, the laptop works fine and I can use it normally with no issues whatsoever.
This happens about 10 seconds after startup, where my fan becomes abnormally loud for ~20 seconds followed by the laptop turning off. As the title says, my laptop (Lenovo ThinkPad E560) sometimes turns off right after booting up. This is the first time I post in any forum, but I'm getting really frustrated at the issue I have at hand.
